Veronica Diaz, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Veronica earned her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from San Diego State University in 2015. Early in hercareer, she and Dr. Sandra worked closely together as a PT/PT aide team for over two years, building a strong professional foundation rooted in collaboration and high standards of patient care.

She later worked at Rady Children’s Hospital as a Radiology Imaging Assistant, gaining valuable experience within a fast-paced medical environment before returning to her passion for physical therapy. Veronica completed her education and licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2025.

Veronica brings a well-rounded clinical perspective to Physiofixx Physical Therapy, with experience across orthopedic, neurological, and pediatric populations. She is passionate about helping patients of all ages move better, feel stronger, and return to the activities they enjoy.

Outside of the clinic, Veronica enjoys spending time with family and friends-and who could forget the pups and her tortoise “Bubba”, exploring new exercise studios, and keeping up with San Diego’s ever-growing food scene.
